Detailed Explanation of Molecular Sieve Regeneration Curve

作者 瀏覽 發(fā)布時間 2019/3/21 20:42:09

The regeneration curve of zeolite starts to decrease from pressure relief, but the starting temperature of heating should increase slightly and then gradually increase until the end of heating.

At the beginning of pressure relief, some substances adsorbed by molecular sieves will be desorbed under high pressure. This process needs to absorb heat and the bed temperature will decrease.

In the initial stage of heating, because the temperature of regenerated air is not high enough and it contains water unavoidably, it is still a process of adsorbing and exothermic when passing through the zeolite bed, so the temperature will increase slightly.

When the inlet temperature rises, the molecular sieve is in the process of desorption and desorption. Part of the heat of regenerated gas is used to heat the upper molecular sieve, and the other part is absorbed by the molecular sieve desorption. As a result, the outlet temperature of regenerated gas will gradually decrease during the heating stage.

When it drops to the same temperature as the bed, the regenerated gas is no longer a heat carrier, but a "flushing" effect on the regenerated molecular sieve bed. In the heating stage, the heat stored in the upper and middle parts of the zeolite bed is gradually taken out by the regenerated gas. As the heat penetrates the whole bed, the outlet temperature rises gradually until the heating and regeneration are completed.
